Ken Evoy created Site Build It! after becoming a successful internet
marketer. He recognized a space where a well designed website system
could fill a serious need. The system is not only
about website development, but it also is about online business
instruction.
When
I
first
went
to "review" Site Build It!, I thought it was just another
website building program. One where you design and create your own
website online in a
way that a beginner can get moving in a few hours; rather than
take the time to learn html, and all the skills you need to build
websites from
scratch.
Site Build It!'s certainly much more than that. Ken Evoy started this
system around 2001, and it has been updated and improved it ever since.
The more I poked
around the edges, the more I realized what a value it was. I first joined
his affiliate program The
5 Pillar Affiliate Club.
As I looked through the affiliate site, I found a huge library of marketing
information. Like the video above, and the one you'll see later on this
page. There are also forums to help you with your affiliate marketing
and many
helpful
people offering suggestions. In fact when I later posted a message about
my low sales, many people responded to it, including Ken Evoy
himself!
They provided some excellent suggestions, along with examples of successful
websites.
As I read more about Site Build It!, I began to understand the value
of it. So even though I have created many successful websites about many
topics, I decided to purchase a website from them. Once I started to
go through their process with their Video
Action guide, I had a real surprise. the guide is divided into days,
and I couldn't even get a website until day 5!
I found that Site Build It! is all about planning, preparation,
and research. That is something I have found to be invaluable in my marketing
efforts, and I have to say they have the planning, etc. setup very professionally.
I was guided step by step by the Video Action
Guide until I selected
a domain name based on keyword research for my niche. The training and
research they provide before you get the site is unequaled in my experience.
The first four days are all about planning. By the time you get a domain
name, which is included in the price, you know who your market is, and
what you are trying to achieve. Before you set up the website hosting,
also included in the price, you are introduced to Brainstorm It! This
is a tool that is connected to Word Tracker.
It's also included in the price and if you purchased this directly, it
would cost $282.00 for the first year even with the special deal you
can get here.
It also takes much of the
work out of keyword research, even beyond what Word Tracker, and the
other pay tools available do. You get demand and competition numbers,
but you also get a very good profitability computation, along with a
host of other things. You even get Google bid prices. All of this information
is stored in an easily access able place, and you can export it to your
spreadsheet if you like.
Also, you can use their Search It! tool.
It accesses resources on the web such as Google, etc., but it puts everything
in one easy to use place. They allow anyone to use a downgraded version
of this tool. You can get it at the Search
It! Page.
After you have completed your research, you choose your domain name.
Then you can access their Site Central area where you will build your
web
site. Beginners can use their content management system to build their
site. It is very simple, and you can create a very professional
website using their tools. The more advanced user can opt for the upload
your own html button, where you can upload your own pages and images
from your
html
editor.
First you will need to choose a theme for your website
using the Look and Feel Selector. This provides an excellent library
of themes that
you can use for your site.
This tool will provide the basic design of your site with
minimal effort. You'll get the header, footer and navigation. You can
change the colors, background colors or images, sizes, alignment, and
fonts, along with a lot of other attributes.
After you set the look and feel, you're going to start
adding content. Every thing is right there for you. You don't have to
hunt for the header tags that have to be there for the search engines,
they're right there for you to enter. Headlines, images, links, they
are all available and easy to add.
Just press the build it button and voila! Your home page
can now be accessed over the internet. From here you can add anything
you want to. A blog complete with an RSS feed, forms, even web 2.0 tools
so your visitors can add content to your site.
On top of all of this Site Build It! includes an autoresponder
for email, traffic stats, link exchange, an xml sitemap for
the
search engines that SBI updates automatically for you, search engine
submission tools, and more. After you have 30 pages up and running, you
get further
access
to keyword
searches
and
additional help and training to monetize your website.
Personally, I don't think Site Build It! can be beat anywhere
on the planet. This is not a get rich quick game, where the only money
made
is by the guy selling you the info, course, bootcamp, or seminar. Instead,
this is the development of a REAL business, where you are guided every
step of
the
way. The cool thing is that once you get established, your site will
bring in money day and night. All you have to do is handle your orders,
and add some new content from time to time.

Counting only the completely tangible items, and ignoring the training,

And consider this. I build my own websites. I started with the Site
Builder! tools to get a feel for what the beginner will use. In fact,
my home page is still built that way. I normally use Dreamweaver, so
I built the rest of my pages on my home system and uploaded them to Site
Build It! Now only does Site Build It! integrate them perfectly, but
it analyzes them as well, catching anything I forgot to do. That's
invaluable!
